The Namiki Yukari Zodiac Snake fountain pen captures the essence of the Year of the Snake. The body, crafted using the traditional Urushi lacquer technique, features a meticulously detailed snake symbolizing deep thinking and wisdom. Inspired by the Japanese Zodiac, Namiki’s "Snake" fountain pen and ink set was inspired by traditional Japanese painter, Riki Nakamachi’s, whose original sketches were brought to life using the Togidashi-Maki-e technique. This involves using a thin brush to paint motifs onto a surface, then dusting gold powder onto the lacquer.
