The beauty of urushi is deepened by using non-oil lacquer for the final coat and a polishing method called “ Roiro Urushi Shiage“ where the process of repeatedly rubbing in raw lacquer after polishing with a special charcoal.
Namiki Yukari Royale Urushi Vermilion
Crafted using the traditional Roiro Urushi Shiage technique, this exquisite fountain pen is the result of months of meticulous workmanship. Layers of raw lacquer are repeatedly applied, gently rubbed, and polished with special charcoal to produce a deep, lustrous finish — making each piece a unique work of art.
The pen is equipped with an 18 KT No. 20 solid gold nib and is compatible with Pilot’s cartridge/converter system. A CON-70 converter is included.
Presented in a wooden box and accompanied by an ink bottle, the Yukari Royale blends functional excellence with refined craftsmanship.
