The Pilot Timeline Past Ballpoint Pen in Deep Red is a sophisticated Japanese writing instrument that combines innovative engineering, elegant materials and exceptional everyday functionality. Designed for professionals, collectors and enthusiasts of fine writing instruments, the Timeline Past offers a distinctive writing experience through its unique two-stage twist mechanism and carefully balanced construction.

One of the most remarkable features of the Pilot Timeline series is its innovative double-twist mechanism. With the first twist, the nose section extends from the body, transforming the compact pen into its full writing length. A second twist extends the ballpoint tip, making the pen ready for use. This carefully engineered mechanism creates a smooth and engaging transition between its compact storage form and comfortable writing configuration.

The Timeline Past features a premium aluminum body complemented by a natural wooden grip, bringing together the durability of metal and the warmth of wood. Its elegant Deep Red finish gives the pen a refined and distinctive appearance, while the carefully considered weight distribution provides excellent balance and comfortable handling during extended writing sessions.

Despite its compact dimensions when retracted, the pen offers a comfortable writing experience thanks to its ergonomic design and 11 mm grip diameter. Measuring just 11.3 cm in its fully retracted position, it is particularly convenient for carrying in a pocket, briefcase or pen case without compromising everyday practicality.

The pen is equipped with Pilot\'s renowned Acro ballpoint ink technology, featuring a 0.7 mm medium writing tip and black ink. The advanced Acro ink formulation combines the convenience of a traditional ballpoint with exceptionally smooth ink delivery, reduced writing resistance and consistent performance.

The Timeline Past is fully refillable and compatible with Pilot BRFN-30 ballpoint refills, available in different tip sizes. This allows the writing instrument to remain a dependable companion for years of regular use.
