History of Platinum: In 1919, Shunichi Nakata founded a business dedicated to crafting exquisite fountain pens. By 1924, he established "Nakaya Seisakusho" (meaning "manufacturer") to produce and sell his creations. In 1928, the company adopted the name "Platinum Fountain Pen Co." along with its signature trademark, marking the beginning of a legacy in luxury writing instruments.
