Its design is inspired by the legendary Douglas C-47 Skytrain, famously known as the Dakota, an aircraft that played a crucial role in airborne operations, particularly during the D-Day landings in Normandy.

Crafted from solid stainless steel, the pen features a striking matte blue finish inspired by the uniforms and heritage of the Air Force pilots of that era. Its sleek, aerodynamic silhouette and elegant metal accents complete its distinctive appearance.

The innovative Slip-In Cap™ mechanism allows the cap to slide smoothly and securely into place. Its clever design transforms the compact pen into a full-sized writing instrument when the cap is posted onto the back of the barrel. The specially designed seal helps maintain nib moisture and prevent the ink from drying out.

The pen is fitted with a German-made JoWo No. 5 stainless steel nib, delivering smooth and consistent ink flow. It is available in four nib sizes: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, and Broad. The filling system accepts Standard International ink cartridges and also includes a converter for use with bottled fountain pen ink.
