The Opus 88 Demonstrator is a distinctive fountain pen that combines contemporary design with exceptional functionality. Generously proportioned yet well balanced, its transparent construction places both the ink and the filling mechanism at the heart of its aesthetic.

Crafted from a combination of clear and frosted resin, the Demonstrator offers an unobstructed view of its internal architecture and substantial ink reservoir. The strong black clip provides a striking contrast against the transparent body, giving the pen a clean and unmistakably modern character.

The Demonstrator features Opus 88\'s signature Japanese-style eyedropper filling system, offering an impressive ink capacity of approximately 3.5 ml. A glass eyedropper is included for simple and convenient filling.

An integrated shut-off valve controls the flow of ink from the main reservoir to the nib. During extended writing sessions, the end knob can be loosened slightly to allow continuous ink flow. When fully closed, the valve isolates the main ink chamber, providing additional security when the pen is being carried or transported.

A threaded cap completes the robust construction, while the pen\'s generous diameter and carefully balanced proportions make it particularly comfortable for long writing sessions.

The Opus 88 Demonstrator is fitted with an engraved JoWo #6 stainless-steel nib, available in Fine, Medium, Broad and 1.5 Stub sizes. Select your preferred nib size when placing your order.
