The uni Mitsubishi Kuru Toga M5-450 is an intelligently designed mechanical pencil featuring the innovative Kuru Toga Engine. Its unique gear mechanism gradually rotates the lead as you write, allowing it to wear evenly and maintain a consistent, fine and clean writing point.

Each time the lead touches and lifts from the paper, the mechanism is activated and rotates the graphite slightly. This prevents the uneven, slanted tip commonly found in conventional mechanical pencils and keeps the line more consistent throughout writing. The classic Kuru Toga mechanism completes approximately one full rotation every 40 writing strokes.

The 0.5 mm lead provides fine and precise writing, while the transparent section of the grip allows you to see the distinctive Kuru Toga mechanism in action. The pencil also features an integrated eraser under the top cap and a practical clip for convenient carrying.
