The Nani cover celebrates Hawaii’s rich printmaking tradition, from kapa cloth made of bark fibres to the iconic Aloha shirts that spread the islands’ beauty worldwide. Inspired by the bold floral and foliage patterns that symbolize the spirit of aloha—joy, unity, and natural harmony—this design evokes both hand-painted traditional motifs and contemporary fabric arts.

In Hawaiian, nani means “beautiful” or “enjoyable.” With its lush tropical florals, this cover brings the carefree spirit of summer and the enduring artistry of Hawaiian textiles to the pages within.
