The Wancher Dream Pen True Urushi Uguisu-Iro brings traditional Japanese lacquer artistry to an elegantly shaped ebonite fountain pen. Its distinctive green finish, with olive and khaki undertones, takes inspiration from the plumage of the Uguisu bird, a symbol of spring and new beginnings in Japan.

With its classic cigar-shaped profile and gently rounded ends, the pen reveals the depth and lustre of genuine Urushi lacquer. Japanese artisans in Wajima apply the lacquer by hand with a brush, gradually building successive layers through a meticulous process that takes at least three months. Each pen reflects the patience, skill and individual care of its maker.

The Uguisu-Iro is available exclusively with a JoWo No. 6 stainless steel nib, in a silver-tone ST or gold-tone GT finish. Its filling system accepts a converter or European international standard cartridges, while an internal airtight cap mechanism helps prevent the ink from drying out between writing sessions.
