The MAT4 Special Edition in Verde Ramina Castellana Ceramic represents a remarkable meeting between contemporary design and one of Italy's most historic ceramic traditions. The precise, geometric character of the MAT4 is combined with the warm, tactile nature and vivid colours of the ceramics of Castelli, creating a refined balance between innovation and tradition, geometry and art, mind and hand.

Created through a collaboration between Vittorio Martini 1866 and Antiche Ceramiche di Castelli, in the province of Teramo, this special set is entirely handcrafted and entirely made in Italy. Every piece is individually worked and decorated by hand using carefully selected materials and traditional artistic techniques, ensuring authenticity, quality and, above all, uniqueness.

The Verde Ramina finish is particularly expressive. The colour is applied to the ceramic by hand with a brush, allowing the gesture of the artisan to remain visible in the finished object. This entirely manual process means that every piece is slightly different, giving each MAT4 its own individual character.

Verde Ramina takes its distinctive colour from copper. Traditionally, ceramic artisans achieved this characteristic green tone through the use of copper oxides, transforming the metal into colour through the firing process. The result is a vibrant and deeply traditional ceramic finish that connects the MAT4 with the centuries-old decorative heritage of Castelli.

The MAT4 is crafted from Castellana ceramic and presented in a glossy Verde Ramina finish. It is accompanied by a matching desk stand made from Castellana ceramic in the same finish, creating a harmonious set designed equally for everyday use, display and collecting.

As every piece is entirely handmade and hand-decorated, slight variations in shape, colour or decoration are natural and should not be regarded as imperfections. Instead, they are distinctive features of the artisanal process and confirm the individuality of every creation.

Each piece is supplied with a certificate of authenticity. The certificate does not cover accidental breakage, damage caused by impacts, falls or improper use, alterations caused by aggressive cleaning products or unsuitable heat sources, or normal wear resulting from use.
